Alan is a Columbus, OH native that wants to put his "cow town" on the map in the tech sector. He has a passion for understanding the needs of big business and introducing new technologies, coupled with people process, in ways never thought of before.

As a technologist with more than 10 years of experience in tech recruiting and consulting, he’s worked with countless fortune 500 companies across the US while he was with one of the worlds largest employment organizations. He found his way into this industry after graduating from Ohio University as an ITS Major.

When Alan isn’t burning the midnight oil, you can find him enjoying an old fashioned, pretending to golf, or throwing the chew toy to Chance for the eleventy-bajillionth time

At night, Rob's mind races over the possibilities of revolutionizing the employment process. His mantra has always been "work to live," so it's no surprise that he wound up in the recruiting industry, finding people jobs they love. Like many of us, he recognized early on that the recruiting had grown stale, emotionless, and transactional, so he vowed to do it differently.

He spent countless hours in the basement of the business school at Ohio University, struggling his way through code as an MIS grad, before realizing he would rather help solve people's problems for enterprise businesses. He spent ten years helping to grow a $25m employment company into a $500m juggernaut, where he reported to the company's founder. He started a very successful "first of its kind" division that ultimately gave him the courage (and the cajones) to start AP.

Rob is eyeing real estate, traveling the world, sipping bourbon, and eating his body weight in sushi in his free time.
